The measures implemented by the state are mainly focused on the restoration of the damages that occurred in the communications and logistics sector, and that is very partial, and the topic of people’s living conditions has remained in the background. In addition, the amount of damage is enormous, and the intended compensations will not make any significant difference to the people. in particular, there are houses where the property was completely destroyed, because it was not possible to save anything.

In the conversation with the journalist of “Past” newspaper, the residents of several affected communities stated that it is a terrible situation, especially in terms of social and living conditions. They added that they are thankful that at least some individuals, public institutions, and some political forces are on their side and support them, otherwise the situation would be more difficult.”
