#TRUELIFE I am a dog-mom. ??‍♀️This week Hazel and Lola have their cousin over. ??‍♀️ Her name is Bella and she is not featured because she is probably barking at a squirrel. ? Everyday at around 5:58 p.m. I see this mom walking by my house. ??‍♀️She runs with a baby in a stroller, a well-behaved dog, a perfect outfit, no sweat, and making motherhood look effortless.?‍♀️ Around 5:58 p.m. I am most likely still in my sweatpants, no makeup, and still working. ??‍♀️ BUT TODAY I decided I was gonna be like the other cool moms in the neighborhood. I got dressed up in my @oohlaluxe jeans and shirt (cutest online boutique ever!!), put on my makeup, gathered my dogs, and went out to walk. ?? Seconds into our walk, Lola ate an old banana on the ground, Hazel lost her ball, and Bella tripped me on her leash chasing a squirrel. ??‍♀️I’m not sure what the lesson learned here is… A) I don’t belong outside my house B) I raised a bunch of wild childs C) I’ve got a lot to learn about motherhood D)Comparison will ALWAYS let me down. *bubbles in “all of the above*. ✏️ Editing this photo tonight, I laughed and admitted to @jordanjramirez that I was such a mess. ?All he said back was, “life is one big beautiful mess.” ? You know what, that boy is right. ?In 3 years, you may see a perfect Dani dog-mom (or real mom) with well-behaved dogs, no sweat, a perfect pony, mastering motherhood. ??But today I’m just an imperfect dog-mom trying to figure out how to walk three wily pups at the same time. ??‍♀️Let’s call that progress and try again tomorrow. ?? #dallasblogger #casualoutfit #daniaustinpresets
