I feel pretty damn grateful to wake up another year older, to be on magazine covers like @nylonmag showing others that success isn’t limited to those with “perfect” bodies, a fancy education, or any other lie we’ve been sold. I’m proud trailer trash, went to high school in an old Wal-Mart building, & was told by my own family that I would never amount to anything… & you know what? That’s okay by me. I’m not doing this to prove something to those that never believed in me, I’m doing it for those that never felt represented in the world. My only birthday wish is that you will be able to look in the mirror one day & truly love what you see looking back. Self love can change the damn world! #effyourbeautystandards ? @lindseybyrnes
